Venue: The Blue Bonnet Ballroom: E.H. Hereford University Center, 300 W 1st St, Arlington, TX 76019

Directions: UTA E.H. Hereford University Center : See Location & Parking tab.

Food:  A light Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided both days at the conference.  Coffee, tea, and water will be provided all day at the conference.  **NOTE** Please indicate in your registration form any dietary restrictions. If you are a presenter or sponsor, please email TUCCCPA Co-President Chelisa Yee (chelisa.yee@uta.edu) regarding any dietary restrictions (i.e., allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free.)

Lodging: Arlington’s proximity to DFW airport, and being a entertainment district, means there are many options for lodgings available in the area. TUCCCC has negotiated group rates for conference attendees at Aloft Arlington (2140 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006) and must be booked by January 22nd: Book with Aloft Arlington.

Unexpected weather: Weather in Texas during February can be very unpredictable.  In anticipation of that, sometimes universities will close or have a late start, which would impact our TUCCCC start time (simply because the venue is on campus and may also have a late open).  If this occurs while you are here (*fingers crossed the weather is sunny and 75*), any changes will be updated on the TUCCCC website as soon as feasible.

Presenters: The venue will be set with a podium and microphones at the front.  AV  availability exists in the conference venue.   Please send your presentation to Chelisa Yee (chelisa.yee@uta.edu) and bring your presentation on a thumb drive, as that is the easiest way to transition between presentations. There are connections on the AV stations for PCs if you need to bring a laptop. There will be a member of the TUCCCC committee in the room with each presenter to help with any AV trouble and take care of CEU and evaluation pieces.

Accessibility: It is important to us that TUCCCC is inclusive of individuals with varied abilities and accessible to all participants and presenters. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation to participate fully in this event (e.g., communication access, alternate formats), please contact Joseph Allberg (joseph.allberg@uta.edu) by January 26th, 2024.
